A:  The intended use for these screws is installing drywall to wood framing and cannot be recommended for other uses.

A:  It’s a course thread. It holds a larger “chunk” of the stud for a better and stronger hold. 

A:  During the manufacturing process, the material used to make the screws can be oily. Most drywall screws you get will have a slight "greasy" feeling when handling, this is normal. If screws are excessively oily, please reach out to your local Home Depot store for assistance.
