A: So far it’s fine. I always have the fan on during showers.
I’ve had that rust problem in rental property where they may not use the vent fan.

A: I do believe it can be attached either vertical or horizontal. I would advise that if you plan on hanging it vertically (perhaps surrounding a bathroom mirror?), to use LED light bulbs so as to not put off as much heat with it likely being located closer to your face.

Q:What bulbs are recommended? Prefer LED, daylight color, CRI >80 (have seen 90 recommended for bathrooms), and have a need for high lumens (thinking at least 800 per bulb). Thank you for any suggestions.

A: Went in easy and throws great light. We put in 60 watt LED type. More watts maybe blinding.
