Questions and Answers for Gladiator Ready to Assemble 39 in. H x 67 in. W x 20 in. D Bamboo Top Workbench

A:  Thank you for your inquiry and apologies for the delay in responding. The Premier GearDrawers are 34" H without casters, 35" with casters and the clearance under the workbench top is approximately 37.5". There is room to stage the GearDrawers below the RTA Bamboo workbench.

A:  If I recall correctly, it's essentially the same size as the table top however it's about 6" thick.

A:  I ordered and assembled this a while ago so I don't have exact measurements. The box was pretty big, I had to put the back seats of my Subaru Forester down and then it slid in easily laying flat. Lengthwise it extended to just behind the front seats with the back hatch closed, widthwise it was not a tight fit. It was very heavy however so once home I had to open the box in the car and take the pieces out separately (middle aged female!).

A:  It's a little bit longer than the length of the bench (67"), just as wide (20"), about 5" high. And it's very heavy.

There are 2 for your review: 26 in W x 18 in D- 3 drawers: Model # GATC26P3WG 26 in W x 12 in D - 3 drawers: Model #GATC26V3WG Both options could sit on top of the workbench and provide storage for small hand tools and other items. Additionally, we see many Gladiator customers install GearWall or Gear Track above their workbench and hang small bins, baskets, or shelves for storage. Thank you

A:  The levelers thread into the bottom of the legs. If you cut the legs, you'd have to weld in something to screw the legs into.

A:  It can be purchased in stores but was not available in Home Depot stores when I purchased the work bench. When I purchased this item online there was a sale on and I had it shipped to the local store for free.

A:  Yes, I have ordered from the store itself, had store delivery - then picked it up at the store when notified and gotten the military 10% discount. However that does not work on any item that is already on sale, as the military discount does not stack with the sale prices at Home Depot.

A:  No! I asked that question and was informed that the Military Discount did not apply in this case. You may try going to the store to make the order after you locate the item on Home Depot web site. I tried.

A:  yes, the bamboo is easy to work with. You need to be able to drill the right diameter and depth hole on the underside of the bench for the short wood lag screws that anchor the legs to the top. The diameter is the key thing to get right. You will have an unfinished edge after cutting the top down. It will be easy to sand the corners to smooth them down and radius them, and you can put a clear coat of varnish on it if you want to make it look more like a new top.

A:  You have pre-drilled holes in the wooden top for the legs and supports to attach. If you wanted to take the risk of damage to the top and voiding the warranty, you could do that. I wouldn't.

A:  No you cant, the frame is pre-drilled unless you want to do heavy metal crafting.

A:  The legs are two separate sets. I suppose you could move them closer but you'd have to cut the top down in order to shorten the actual table.
