Q:Could this be mounted in an enclosed trailer

Answer This Question
A: They can be mounted anywhere, but if you don't attach them to studs then you can't hang anything with any weight on them. So if the enclosed trailer isn't built with studs I wouldn't mount them if you have heavy items to hang on them.
by|Dec 29, 2021
A: Im sure it could be as long as vertical supports exist in your trailer. The wall mount is just a plastic track that you can put the mounting screw in anywhere
by|Dec 26, 2021
A: Yes. Just mount it to a 1” board and fasten the board to the trailer wall.

A: Yes. I have it in my horse trailer

Q:Cam I purchase just the "J" hooks?
by|Jul 9, 2021

Answer This Question
A: Extra hooks may be purchased separately. But "J" hooks come packaged along with the "L" hooks (8 total -- 4 of each). The "J" hooks are not sold separately without the "L" hooks (probably because it is more economical to sell packages of these hooks than to sell smaller quantities of these). And I suspect they assume that most consumers want/need some of both types of hooks (which I have).

A: I have two set up in my store room, one beneath the other one. The top one is mounted two and half feet from the ceiling, and the bottom one is mounted about six feet from the floor.

A: I installed mine 72 inches off the floor. But really what ever works for your needs.
by|Apr 15, 2021
A: It really depends on your own height and what your hanging up. I'm 6 ft. 2in and I hung it at 7ft. to keep the floor under it easy to clean.
by|Dec 30, 2022
A: I have hundreds of feet of gear track and gear wall. So much that I do not remember if there is a "Recommended" installation height.
Mount it at whatever height suits Your Needs, and depending on what you intend to hang on it. Around eye height would be a good starting point.

A: Whatever you think it should be. Look at what you are trying to hang up on it and raise it up at least 6” to clear the floor. I have two one very high and one lower for frequent use tools. Just make sure you leave room at the top so that the tools clear the ceiling when mounting them onto the product.

A: Depends what you’re hanging, I’d say give it a couple inches higher than the tallest pole type tool you hang from it, that way it clears the ground easy.
