A:  Hello Timothy, this may not be the right product for your installation setting. Use the Glacier Bay "S" Shower Arm in Brushed Nickel to raise the height of your existing shower head and bring style to your shower assembly. Only one end is intended to fit into the wall, per the installation manual. To assist you further, send us a message to Homewerks via email: info@hwcares.com Thank you

Q:Does the bottom of this arm have a slight slope away from the wall so that the water dripping down the arm doesn't flow onto the flange / wall? I'm worried about water getting in to the wall... no sealant is perfect.

Q:How many inches does the 11 in arm raise the existing head. Is it an 11 in raise or is the arm 11 in all together?

A:  It’s roughly 11 inches of additional height, however that will vary depending on your shower head and that you’re switching from. Our detachable shower head gained 15” because of how the mounting bracket holds the actual shower head. Also, that was measured from the point where the arm enters the wall, and not factoring that the standard arm pointed down from there roughly an inch. I hope that helps.
