Q:I have my generator wire run to a 4 x 4 box set into the brick on my house. Will this box mount to that 4 x 4 box?

A: You could easily mount it over a box that size yes, simply drill the box cover hole pattern into the back wall of this box and mount over the top. It will stick out from the wall of course and you may need a bit extra wire length to reach the back of the connector but should function perfectly.

Q:Does the male connection (where you plug the power cord from the generator) face outward away from the house, or downward toward the ground?

A: I already had an electrician run aluminum wire from the panel to the garage where the power inlet box will be located. Do the lugs on your product accept aluminum wire?
