A: No, in most cases the door frame is not wide enough to support a towel bar, in addition trying to install a towel bar on the door may cause the glass to break.

Q:Mystic has a review of this product and comments that it keeps falling off the wall. If you look at the picture she has provided, is the wall mount upside down? If the disk mounted to the wall in the picture was flipped over there would be a larger edge for the screw to hold on to. Is her installation incorrect?

A: If this is installed with proper anchoring it will stay on the wall.

A: The picture shows the large diameter of the flange being against the wall. This is backward. The large diameter of the flange should face out so that it captures the set screw on the towel bar and prevents it from sliding off.
