A:  This is not really a grey MDF material, butlooks more like chip-board OSB (wood color) material. If you want it to have wood grain, you could put some vinyl decal type covering on it.

A:  Yes, they can be cut to size. We trimmed ours out, but had to get the trim from another company. Looks great!

A:  It’s chipboard. It can be cut, but should at least tape the cut to prevent chipping, or use a backer board. It doesn’t come with trim pieces.

A:  No, you'll only need to purchase 1 pack, since that would cover a 4 x 4 area. Cutting one of the panels to make a 1 x 4 piece will help you accomplish that.

A:  Weaker and way expensive compared to other shelving stores.

A:  Yes but the specific metal hooks are inexpensive and designed to use with slat board. Just google them and you can find the hooks easily.

A:  Using good common sense is the best approach to make sure you are not overloading your Slatwall panel. Load limits will vary based on the accessory utilized and how you actually place an item into position. Generally, the closer you are to the face of the panel, the more load it can handle. The farther out from the panel you are, the more stress the panel will face. You will be fine with 12 pounds items, as long as they are properly placed on 4 inch hooks.

A:  GarageEscape Easy Panels can be configured to build a 4x8 panel. You would need 2 boxes (4 pieces). We recommend GarageEscape accessories, other manufacturers will work. You would need to try the Husky brand to confirm. Thanks for asking!

A:  Technically they could but you would not want to. They are extremely heavy and are meant for holding tool or other racks on a wall. You can buy kits that make it relatively easy, although messy, to remove popcorn ceiling. There's a large scraper that you attach a vacuum to, which helps, but it involves scraping the ceiling and then repainting.
