Answer This Question
A: Thank you @Paul for your interest in the Gama Sonic solar spot light. This is a great question! The first two days are considered as the “initial charge”. Our solar spotlight needs at least two cycles of charging, which includes charging during the day, and discharging the battery during the night (the light automatically will turn on at dusk). After the first two days of full sunlight you should see the lamp working at its peak performance.

A: First time I ever experienced this, the only reason I did it was because I was not ready to install the light, my personal opinion is there is no difference

A: Hi Same,
Great question. Before installing the light, we recommend you place it in the direct sunlight for 48 hours to receive a full charge. After the light has been installed it must received 4-6 hours of direct sunlight to build a full battery. I hope this answered your question.

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
It depends on what you are trying to light. If you're aiming it upwards for up lighting, the light will cover a length of 5-10 feet.
Thank you,
