A:  Thank you @Paul for your interest in the Gama Sonic solar spot light. This is a great question! The first two days are considered as the “initial charge”. Our solar spotlight needs at least two cycles of charging, which includes charging during the day, and discharging the battery during the night (the light automatically will turn on at dusk). A:  First time I ever experienced this, the only reason I did it was because I was not ready to install the light, my personal opinion is there is no difference

A:  Before I placed the lights in their permanent location I put them in a full sun location for 48 hours.

A:  Hi Same, Great question. Before installing the light, we recommend you place it in the direct sunlight for 48 hours to receive a full charge.
