Q:I bought GE refrigerator GSS25GMHES 4/29/20, it's not working now it doesn't gets cold set temperature to 0 freezer 37 refrigerator but it auto set the temperature to 60 freezer 68 fridge. What do I need to do.

When first installed, wait 24 hours for the refrigerator to cool completely, and make sure the water supply is connected and turned on. Also, be sure to slide the power switch of the icemaker to the ON position. It is also possible that cubes are piled up in the storage bin, causing the icemaker to shut off. You can level the cubes by hand or remove extra cubes. Be sure there are no ice cubes stuck in the icemaker. If these solutions do not resolve the issue, service may be needed. The temperature for your freezer is recommended to be 0 degrees Fahrenheit and the one for your fresh food section is 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Q:Our fridge didn't come with the deli drawer. It was also installed 2 weeks ago and the ice machine is producing ice, but when you push the button for ice it grinds and the freezer door pops open. No ice comes out. Anyone have this issue with ice?

Q:I replaced the water filter on my GE fridge with the specified filter and now I get no water and an error code on the display for the filter status. What is going wrong? If I put the old filter back in, it works just fine - except the filter needs replace

A: Make sure your putting it in right. After you put in the new filter, press the water button and the tab that delivers the water and hold it for about a minute or two. That way the water goes into the filter then out threw the disposal tab. That should do it. Also if it works than you will noticed gray water coming out which is like dust from the filter. About six glasses of water should be disposed of before clean water starts coming out. I personally use a filter from amazon which is cheaper than the actual GE one. Its called “GlacierFresh” water filter, filter model GF-XWF. Ive used that filter going on 3 years and no issues.
