Q:So is there no way to put a new bulb in - the lantern I bought at a garage sale doesn;t have the bulb in it. So it must have been taken out??

A: Ccc55, unfortunately this lantern was designed to have a non-replaceable bulb. The bulb is actually hardwired to the mother board and if it’s removed can damage the motherboard. Jasco Products Tech Suport(Manufacturer)
