We manufacture other models that do have a manual override so it can stay on all the time. A:  Hi Donna, this night light emits 8 lumens which is great for bathrooms, utility rooms or hallways.

A:  The light isn't very bright but perfect to be used just as a night light. I personally wouldn't want it too bright if it were used in a bathroom because it would keep me up at night since my bedroom is right next to the bathroom.+
