Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question. Since one of our manufacturing facilities is located in California, we have to follow California Law which requires we mark the rebond products with the Prop 65 warning. The product is CRI Green Label Plus approved for low or no VOC's.

Q:Does this pad have moisture barrier on both sides? I am planning to install in my basement over concrete floor. So does it have the moisture barrier on the concrete touching side?

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question. The 8lb density Memory Foam with Moisture barrier only has the SpillSafe film on the one side. This film is designed to go up against the carpet to prevent any spills on the carpet from going thru the pad to the sub floor. The Foam side of the product would be against the concrete floor. This product is an excellent choice for basement as the Memory Foam has the antimicrobial to prevent any growth of mold or mildew.

Q:Is this foam suitable to put inside windows to block out noise and some of the intensity of sunlight?
I live in Florida with intense sun on a busy street. I am worried it could be a fire Hazard or emit odors when becoming hot from sunlight. Or it would turn brittle or yellowish from the UV rays. if it holds up 2-3 years I am fine though.

A: Good luck in shipping from Wisconsin to Florida. My rolls were ripped up as protective plastic was holy and product was torn with black grease marks. Request to pick up from the store and bring your own truck.

A: Thank you for your question. This foam is not designed for this type of application. This product would oxidize pretty quickly and could brittle from the sun and exposed heat. This product is designed to be installed under carpet for walking comfort.

Q:Are there any padding recommended to be used for sound proof purposes???
by|May 9, 2020
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question. If you are inquiring about sound proof when installed under carpet, carpet and padding will reduce sound within the room. If you are inquiring about sound proof where product is on walls and ceilings, we do not recommend any of our products for that type of installation.
