    A:  we do not recommend using on Washer lines. Fiberglass pipe wrap is a good alternative for the heat cable.

      A:  When the pipe/water temperature reaches 38 degrees, the cable will turn on and stay on until the pie/water temperature reaches 43 degrees.

        A:  If you have left this line, fully charged meaning it’s completely full of water and turning the sprinklers on they would come on it will work if you have drained your system and you want to protect the pipe because you think there might be residue water in there no it will not

              A:  No, it is not safe. Like any other electrical cord made for indoor use out of the elements, it's not safe for outdoor use. There are covers made specifically for these and work very well.

                A:  Other than it will not work for this situation, there is no danger. This is a heat cable for charged water lines and will not work for any other purpose. It's like an indoor extension cord that you would not use outdoors.
