A:  No do not use on an outdoor garden hose. The cable is not designed for outdoor use and it could get warm enough to damage the garden hose. best thing to do is unscrew it from the faucet for the evening if possible.

A:  There is NO recommended bend radius for this Heat Cable. It runs parallel to the pipe. It is NOT wrapped around the pipe.

A:  You can plug it in just as long as the thermostat is touching the pipe. If it does not then the cable will not work properly, and your pipe will be left unprotected.
