      A:  That is a great question JoJo! Dishwasher model FGHD2465NF vents from the top of the door on the left-hand side. The clearance required for the installation of the appliance is 2-1/2" on the sides and 3" from the back of the dishwasher to the wall.           A:  I never see ANY steam, so I assume it goes into the drain

          A:  The hot air on that dishwasher vents out the corners of the door. So it is important that the clearance around the dishwasher is correct and it is installed properly. Thank you, Frigidaire

              A:  I obtained 2 small steel metal straps and had no problem anchoring on the sides. I screw in each lip of the dishwasher and 1 screw on each side of the cabinet. Looked great and resolved granite problem. Epoxy used by installer would not hold.

                A:  If mounting your dishwasher to the countertop or to the floor is not a desirable option, you can order the side mount kit, 154477201, by contacting your dealer or parts supplier. This allows you to install the dishwasher by securing it to the cabinets or partitions on either side of the unit.                   A:  Yes. But we just cut off the top tabs and screwed them onto the sides. Worked very well.
