                  A:  Yes, you can lock the electronic controls and the machine also automatically locks the door as soon as you press start. It also keeps the door locked if for some reason you press cancel when in a spin cycle or if the water temperature is too hot. The door lock automatically disengages when the washer senses that it's safe to do so. Very good machine, I love it!
