Answer This Question
A: The range is black and silver (stainless steel).
I'm not familiar with the Gallery series.
by|Dec 10, 2015
A: Hi TB, that is a great question. Within the Gallery Series, you may find different grades and shades of stainless. Therefore; we cannot confirm if this particular range would be a match without knowing the model numbers of your refrigerator and dishwasher. Feel free to connect with us directly or resubmitting your inquiry with the model numbers of your appliances. We look forward to hearing from you.-Best Regards-

Q:Does the cooktop get scratched easily? Are some pots or pans better to use? What about cast iron?
by|Nov 17, 2015

Answer This Question
A: Yes. You have to be careful. I use aluminum and stainless steel pots & pans.
I haven't tried iron. The User's Guide states that copper cookware heats up very quickly and efficiently and is better than aluminum and stainless steel.

A: Hello Pmheiden! The cooktop on this range (FFES3025PS) does not get scratched easily. We recommend that pots and pans do not get dragged across the top of the range as that can cause scratches. Copper cookware is an excellent heat conductor but will discolor. Aluminum cookware is a great heat conductor but if the pans slide across the cooktop they may leave metal marks. Stainless cookware is a slow heat conductor with uneven cooking results. Cast iron cookware is not recommended for use on ceramic cooktops. We hope this information is helpful to your shopping experience. –Thanks!-
