A:  If you have a standard size garage door opening it should work just fine. I have only used the model that has a zipper on each side so it is very secure for our cat. Just make sure the pipe you use at the bottom has some weight to it so the cat can’t easily get underneath it and get out.

A:  I was thinking of doing the same, however I don't see how cutting it would work. If you cut the width to be more narrow, you would be cutting an end with the zipper. If you cut the height you would either cut the velcro top off or the pouch at the bottom (for the pvc to hold it down). If you figure something out, let me know!
