Q:My fountain keeps running out of water. I have to add water about every 12 hours. Any suggestions?

Answer This Question
A: If it's in a windy area, relocate it if possible to a less breezy area for reduced evaporation. These types of fountains seem extra liable to high evaporation.
Ours is located in the backyard and we ended up using an extra drip feed line (from one which ran to an existing planter) fed into the water tank in the fountain's base. The feed runs off a timer for 7 or 8 minutes every 6 hours or so and it's enough to keep the fountain supplied.
Hope this helps.
