A:  Yes, Internet is needed.

A:  Whether or not this will connect from 150' away all depends on your router, access point setup. I would recommend using an app like WiFi Analyzer to see if you have a signal and it's strength where you want to place the camera.

A:  My Camera is up in a tree about 15 feet and it is almost 100 feet from my router, Works good and holds connection. I am in the country so no interference. Your mileage may vary.

A:  It is about typical of any Wi-Fi device and varies depending on your installation. I had one working at about 40 feet for a while before I got cables run. If you get out on the fringe you can always add a Wi-Fi extender, several companies make them and they function like a repeater.

A:  no it runs constantly, so you have to log in to your account/app/computer screen to see it anything or you can also run a program on your computer to record the data also. I have every hour an update "still freeze" photo on the hour. There are many programs that can do many things, I am not sure if you can get notifications of movements. Outside birds animals people go by all times but there may be an app for this? But I do love these and have them indoors and out and love them. Hope it helps you.

A:  I am not sure where the one person got their information but I can confirm that this camera can easily be configured to notify you via email upon motion detection view configuration in the built in GUI. You can also set it to notify you on a time schedule selected within the GUI. It helps to be tech savy or plan to spend some time learning.

A:  Yes you can add an email client to this camera to send you an email alert with a burst of up to 5-6 stills when it detects motion. To get actual alarms notifications however you would need to have the app running on your phone/tablet 24/7. The best solution we found was to set up a separate Gmail account just for each camera. This way our main email is not getting clogged up.

A:  It does NOT have motorized pan/tilt. HomeDepot's description is flawed. You can adjust the LOS using the mounting bracket. Depending on what software you choose to use with the camera, you may have the ability to digitally zoom then pan/tilt .

A:  It is stationary, to my knowlege I do not know how to pan/tilt. I have these already and recommended by my son so I dont know why the pan/tilt desription. You can tilt and move it on bracket but indoors can pan tilt?

A:  It does not, someone got the description confused when posting, this is a fixed camera.
