A: Hello and thank you for your interest in our Tides Bypass door. The walk-thru measurement is the width when walking through the open doors. The 70" height is the total height of the unit including all framework. Hope this helps!

A: Thank you for your interest in Foremost shower doors. Yes, you can put it on a 39 1/4" opening and it will function properly. However, you should be aware that the panel over lap when the door is closed will be substantial and when the door is fully open, your step through opening will be less than 14 1/2".

A: No, the door is not recommended to be custom fitted.

Answer This Question
A: Dear Cleanfreak,
Thank You for your interest in Foremost shower doors.
Unfortunately, we only offer complete shower door enclosures. Please bear in mind that every shower door manufacturer in the market uses proprietary parts that generally will not work with the parts from a different manufacturer and therefore our frame pieces would most likely not work with the door panels from a different manufacturer.
While it is possible to remove, clean and reuse tracks and rails from a shower door, great care must be taken not bend or dent the aluminum pieces when removing the old sealant. Once compromised, these pieces generally can not be reused.

Q:What is the difference between rain glass and obscure glass?

Answer This Question
A: Mike,
Thank you for your interest in Foremost Shower Doors. While both provide a non-transparent option, rain and obscure glass are substantially different. The obscure pattern is much more rough and irregular in appearance while the rain pattern has many small ridges in the glass the create a raindrop-like pattern. I have attached photos of both patterns for your reference.
