A: Hey John - you're right, people typically purchase 2-4 of these. However, they are sold individually, even though they come in sets of 4 from the factory. Hope that helps!

Q:I am looking at these for an application in which I would only use casters when unit is empty, but would be holding an additional 100-200 pounds when stationary and resting only on leveling feet. Can these manage additional weight when the casters are not in use?
