A:  Most are universal. Although there are a few toilets with proprietary guts. These are cheap enough and easy to install. Don't forget to watch a short video on YouTube if you need guidance.

A:  This valve is universal, I have not come across a model it would not work on

In cases where the fill valve will not turn on and refill the tank with water after the toilet has been flushed we suggest making the chain that comes from the fill valve float (the Leak Sentry Chain) to the tank lever a little bit tighter by a few chain loops. If necessary repeat this step until the tank refills with water after flushing the toilet. A:  Check the height of the installed valve, sounds like the cover is actually sitting on the valve which will deform it and, potentially,restrict free motion of the float.

A:  Need to adjust the height. Hold the bottom section and carefully twist the top until you have the correct height.
