A:  The picture shown is an example of the EZ Flow Heavy Duty Filter.

A:  They are a greenish color

A:  They are the new white filters,

A:  The EZ Flow filters are now manufactured with a white media. They have the same dust holding capacity, MERV 4 rating.

A:  These are not the blue filters but are just as dense. Keep in mind that too dense a filter makes the fan motor work harder. The pleated filters are bad for that. The reinforcing in this filter is a plus.

A:  These filters are white in color, just as the photo shows.

A:  Found my own answer: 1" vs. 2" thickness. Please disregard question due to my brain-lock! :(

A:  why are the filters half price on line than in store

A:  Make sure you are looking at same SKU # in store. They sell several versions of these. I had bought another version previously that worked fine. These don't have sufficient filtering material for much of anything smaller than a leaf!! DO NOT BUY!!! Also, I am told they are non-refundable. I just wasted $30 on a case of garbage.

A:  Thank you for the inquiry. The 24 x 24 x 1 in. EZ Flow metal retainer air filter has a metal retainer on one side where as the EZ flow Heavy Duty air filter has a metal retainer on both sides of the filter.
