A:  Fred; it is better to ask the store manager about an item you need--often times they put "auxiliary items" in a storage area --if they do not offer to help you I sugest you contact Fiskars directly.

A:  All the stores are stocked and shelved a little bit differently. Shop on line prior to your visit and you can access availability, and location in the store you shop. If it still is not easy to find ask an associate, they will walk you to it or find someone who can.

A:  Not sure you can find any alternatives, but my problem is that the replacement blade when you are sawing with it at the end of a 10 foot pole pruner. The design, unfortunately does not provide a frame for the blade to remaining a rigid position.

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, our pruning saws do not have replacement blades available for them.

A:  The biggest branch I've ever cut with the blade was about 5" in diameter. The pruner itself I only use on 2" limbs or smaller.

A:  I have cut tree branches in excess of 6" in diameter with this blade while always standing clear of each branch that I cut to prevent large branches from falling on me. This blade easily cuts through soft woods such as pine, but takes a bit more time and effort to cut through hardwoods such as oak and maple.

A:  As you look at the blade it will cut from the front of the blade to about an inch in front of the last couple of teeth--however depending on the wood it may not cut that full length. I have found wood here on the farm that is easier to cut with a chain saw.

A:  This is a great blade, and will cut any size branch. Its heavy duty. The bigger the branch the longer it will take to saw of course.

A:  Thank you for contacting Fiskars, Jon. This replacement saw blade can be used to cut through any diameter branch when attached to Fiskars tree pruner models 9300, 9301, 9240, 9261, TP45, 9461, or 39398.

A:  The lifetime warranty is for material and manufacturing defects. If the blade fails due to wear from use or lack of maintenance (cleaned, oiled and properly stored after each use) it has reached the end of its' "service life" and is no longer under warranty. That being said, Fiskars' customer service is outstanding and the very few issues that I have encountered over many years of using their products have been solved immediately and completely to my satisfaction. If you really feel the blade has prematurely failed and is not just dull from much normal use I would suggest you contact Fiskars' customer service department.

A:  I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THIS BLADE--i SUGGEST YOU CONTACT THE COMPANY AND TELL THEM OF YOU PROBLEM--ALSO i ALWAYS SPRAY THE BLADE WITH SILICONE BEFORE EACH USE.

A:  I don't know about getting a replacement but like any tool, this one requires some maintenance. I give mine a cleaning with a rag and a bit of light oil after I use it. Seems to do the trick. Some sharpening from time to time probably wouldn't hurt.

A:  Thank you for contacting Fiskars, Clint. No, these blades are not interchangeable. The 93336966K blade is compatible with models 9300, 9301, 9240, 9261, TP45, 9461, and 39398. Blade 93356920 is compatible only with model 9393.

A:  I am sorry but i do not know if what a corona blade is--I suggest you take the blade you have to a hardware store that carries the Fiskers blade and compare them.

A:  I am sorry but I have used this pruner or many times I can not read the model number. I have replaced the blade but did not save the package.

A:  Can't say for sure, but they are usually pretty universal.

A:  That is the pole saw that I have. Fits well as far as I can see. I'll see when I try it, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
