    A:  Unfortunately, there is no way to unlock it without the keys. A locksmith will be needed to open the lock without damaging the piece.

        A:  It is all surface mounted. Fairly simple. Instructions are included if you purchase this piece. The hinged latch attaches to the door frame where you desire and the key cylinder attaches to the door where it lines up. Below are the step by step instructions: 1.Place cylinder inside hinged latch 2.Place lock in desired location 3.Mark hole locations for hinged latch 4.Mark hold locations for cylinder 5.Drill pilot holes 6.Attach cylinder and hinged latch with screws

          A:  Yes, but you would have to screw it into the casing trim, and door. That would ruin both. A cheap locking keyed door knob is a better choice
