A: Hi Jay! If you are lookIng for multiple pieces to purchase online, you have a couple of options. You could order this product in the quantity needed for your job or you could purchase this moulding in a doorpack, which is a bundle of 5 - 84" pieces, enough to case out both sides of a door opening. Q:Is there any reason this couldn't be used as crown molding?

A: It would be, yes. However the "slant" isn't as deep as traditional crown molding. It would be flat. Probably would look nice though.

A: I think it's just that you don't NEED to paint it. Not that you can't. Good question though!
