    Answer This Question

A:  Hello - Thank you for asking. The filter must be installed into the proper flow direction. We recommend consulting a plumber.

    by|Jan 20, 2020

A:  I have always followed the flow direction. You have to make an arragement with the pipes to get the flow in the direction indicated. One of those might be placing the filter at the right side of the pipe where the water comes out from the wall

A:  Please see the guides that are on the webpage to see if this product will meet your needs under: Info & Guides, Instructions / Assembly as well as the Use and Care Manual. Q:Looking at installing this on a well that feeds a small mobile home that is mainly used on weekends. Trying to decide whether 3 micron or 5 micron model would be better. Some minor rust is present, but still determining source.

          Answer This Question

A:  While both filters will work for your situation it really is a matter of preference on which you use. Going with the 3 micron option will eliminate smaller particles than the 5 micron model but if it not particles you are worried about both filters will work to improve the taste and odor of the water. If our team can assist please call our 800.388.3458 M-F 8am-5pm CT and thanks for asking!

Q:Will this filter take of lead ?
              by|Nov 26, 2016

              Answer This Question

A:  This filter will indeed reduce lead that may be entering your water but please keep in mind that there is always a chance lead can be reintroduced into the water downstream of a whole house lead reduction system. In addition, the water demand for a household makes it impractical to treat the water at the point of entry. Therefore, it makes sense to focus treatment at the point of use, such as the kitchen, with an under sink, point of use water filtration system. If our team can assist with selecting the best product for you please call our team at 800.388.3458 M-F 8am-5pm.

                Answer This Question

A:  Thanks for your question. This product reduces sand, soil, silt, rust, sediment, and chlorine taste and odor, but not well water's specific odor. If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to a tech expert directly at 800-494-3552. Thank you!
