Q:I will need to cut a total of about four inches from the door height to hang from sliding door hardware. Can this be done w/o compromising door?

Q:Are the dimensions exact? For example, a door listed as 32" x 80", is it actually 32" x 80"? Some doors list nominal sizes, but are actually a bit smaller.

Q:My old door is a solid wood 10 lite door with a mortise lock. Is the structure of this door such that I can mortise it to use my old handle/mortise lock set with it or will it only tolerate a standard single bore?

Answer This Question
A: This is not a solid door by a MDF veneer product with engineered core. It should be fine with a small mortise type setup, this is an interior door and is 1-3/8" thick. We also have 10-Lite TDL product to give the look of your current door, special order at your local store.
