A: You can go to your local store to see custom jamb options. Smallest standard size is 4-9/16"- we can go down to a 4" jamb but the threshold will be 5-3/8".

A: No, as this door is pre-stained painting is not recommended.

A: While it is not recommended to paint over a pre-stained door you can paint with proper prep work.
As to instruction for painting over a stained prefinished doors. 1. Using #400 sand paper, sand entire door surface to be painted. This allows for the paint to adhere to current stain/polyurethane surface. 2. You can use either a high quality acrylic latex or oil based exterior paint to paint over the door slab. 3. Apply at least two coats of paint. Follow the paint manufacturer’s recommended drying time between coats.
