A:  The picture shown is a representation. There are two mounting holes on the rose plate to allow attachment to the door. Please scroll down the page until you see a section titled Product Overview, in that section there is a box to the right of the page with links to the Installation Instructions. Click on the link. Here, it shows a picture of how to install the Dummy Knob.

A:  It uses screws to install.
