We do not recommend using our panels in place of drywall. The panels are approximately .028" in thickness. While they are made of PVC and water resistant, the adhesive used to hold them in place isn't designed to withstand constant and direct water contact for extended periods of time. You can install fixtures over the panels but just be noted that it may cause permanent damage to the panel and to ensure the fixture is anchored to an additional substate, not just the panel. We have outlet covers available in a matching finish, those can be special ordered through your local Home Depot location. They are a peel and stick laminate sheet that can be cut to fit your outlet size. In addition, we also have numerous trim available for the panels as well.
