Q:I'm using this for a backsplash in my rv, do I still use Ceiling tile adhesive?

A:  Thank you for your questions! We do not recommend using our Traditional 10 Lay-in Ceiling tile in Brushed Aluminum for a backsplash application. The tiles have an overlapping lip around the entire panel and are meant to be installed in a grid system application not directly applied to a substrate.         A:  Thank you for your interest in our product. This specific Fasade ceiling panel is designed to lay into a preexisting grid system, but being that the panels are made of PVC plastic they can handle high humidity rooms. Also, because our panels are made of PVC, the moisture that hits the outside of the panel will not cause rust or corrosion.           A:  Hello and thank you for your interest in our product. I apologize for any inconvenience. The Fasade decorative panels are sold individually. The ‘10’ in the title of this sku is part of the name of the panel, not the quantity. Or rather, the 'Traditional 10' is the name of the style/pattern of this ceiling tile.             A:  Hello Casundra! Thank you for your question! These 2x2 Fasade decorative Lay-In ceiling panels are meant to lay directly into a ceiling grid system. You can lay them into a pre-existing grid system or purchase the matching Smoked Pewter surface mount grid system (Ceiling Max) or the matching Smoked Pewter suspended ceiling grid system (HG Grid).               A:  There is a specific type of ceiling tile adhesive to use for application. These tiles can be applied to your ceiling as well as your walls and other woodworking projects. Check out this tile adhesive here on the Home Depot website: 237 1 Gal. Acoustical Ceiling Tile Adhesive
