            Q:Can these tiles be used outside? I'm trying to cover wood sheeting on awning. I like the tile please inform.

              Q:Can it be painted to other colors by myself? The colors you have don't match with my design. If it could be painted what kind of paint would I use.

              A:  Hello! Thank you for your question! We do not recommend painting over the faux foil on the finished panels. The paint you choose may react with the preexisting faux foil to give you a color that you may not be fully satisfied with. However, each of our patterns is available in paintable white if you are interested in a different finish than what we offer. We recommend that you use a latex or oil-based paint. It is also critical that you prime the panels with a latex or oil-based primer before you paint them. Please feel free to contact customer care for any troubleshooting tips at 800.434.3750.                 A:  Hello Maggy! Thank you for your question! This L63-00 Fasade decorative ceiling panel is meant to be dropped into a grid system. The "L" part of the model number represents "Lay-In" panel. We do not recommend gluing or nailing these panels directly to the ceiling due to the seam that would be prominent every 24 inches. We do offer Fasade decorative Glue-up ceiling panels that have a 1/2" overlapping lip around the perimeter of the panel for ease of installation. The Glue-Up panels have a model number that begins with "G" for Glue-Up/Direct-apply. These are available in 2'x2' and 2'x4' dimensions. You can special order this item by ordering online or contacting/visiting your local Home Depot stores help desk with this request. Prior to installation, it is recommended that the entire ceiling be smooth and flat. Apply a drywall primer or paint primer.
