A:  These are fairly durable thermoplastic panels if installed properly. The only caveat I'd say is to make sure the kids or whoever is there is to have their shoes off so it doesn't scuff the surface. Other than that, it can be just fine for the vertical surface under the breakfast bar. Joseph

A:  Hello! Thank you for your question! Fasade panels are very durable under normal wear and tear. They are made from recycled PVC material and could outlast your kitchen when taken care of properly. However, the foil finish that is thermo formed into the panel is a little more delicate and could be damaged from continual scraping/rubbing. Also chemical cleaners are not an option as it will damage the finish on the panels, we recommend cleaning with warm soapy water.
