A:  Thank you for your interest in our products. If you are planning to install glue up tiles to your ceiling, you need to make sure your ceiling is clean. We recommend that you apply a fresh coat of primer or paint on the ceiling before the panels are installed. Also, be sure to clean the back of each panel with rubbing alcohol before applying adhesive. Acceptable substrates are drywall, plaster or clean, smooth tile (glazed, porcelain type tile; not porous or textured). Any damaged, loose or uneven areas must be repaired, patched, leveled and primed. Fill cracks and irregularities with wallboard compound or spackling, then sand smooth with fine-grade sandpaper. Any porous material like highly textured drywall, plywood (or any raw wood without primer), and wallpaper unless removed, sanded and primed, will result in adhesive failure. The Fasade tiles have a foil finish that is manufactured into the tile to ensure years of enjoyment. The Fasade Glue-up panels are designed to get glued directly to a substrate, however we do have this same style in a 2x2 panel that is designed to lay into a grid system. A:  I have used this Fasade ceiling tile as a back splash in my kitchen , I installed it in 2013. Looks great, clean easily, I have to run my fingers along it to find the seam.

A:  Hello and thank you for your interest in our product. You can certainly use the glue-up ceiling tile as a backsplash. However, because the ceiling tiles have a different type of built in lip for overlapping, you are able to see the seam every 24”. I’ve had customers who are okay with this but I’ve had complaints as well. It is more of a personal preference. A:  No, this is for ceiling use and not rated for backsplash use.

A:  Hello and thank you for your interest in our product. Even though the Fasade panels are fire-retardant, they can be deformed by excessive heat (over 140 degrees Fahrenheit). Be sure to keep stovetop burners, toaster ovens, cooking ranges, etc., 6 inches away from the panel's surface. A:  No, these ceiling tiles can not be installed over popcorn ceiling.

Or rather, the 'Traditional 10' is the name of the style/pattern of this ceiling tile.
