The wall to which you plan to install backsplash panels to needs to be freshly cleaned, free from dust, grease, wax, etc. After you’ve cleaned the wall, be sure that it is dried thoroughly. Make sure any cracks/divots in the tiles are filled so the surface is as even as possible to guarantee proper adhesive adhesion. However, due to the size of the tile there will be more seems present in this type of installation. While the panel has an overlapping lip on the top and right hand side of the panel, the seams will be more visable with certain colors/styles.
