A:  Before the tile is adhered to the wall... yes.

A:  Thank you for your great question! Our Fasade Smoked Pewter J-Trim can be installed over existing tile if you are pairing it with our Fasade panels. Just like with our panels, you need to make sure the substrate you are applying the tiles to is smooth, clean, flat and dry. Any cracks or irregularities need to be filled in, and tiles that have a high gloss on them could be buffed slightly to create a better substrate for the adhesive to attach to. A:  Thank you for your great question! Our Fasade 18" Smoked Pewter J-Trim is meant to be applied to a clean, smooth, dry, and flat surface. We recommend the surface be have a little texture as possible to ensure proper and even adhesion.
