Q:Are these held on by a cotter pin? Can't tell from the pics and didn't see it in the description. Thanks!

    A:  Yes. Pins not included.

A:  This would depend on the axle of the product you're putting the tires on. Some axles use a bolt to keep the tires on while others use a cotter pin.

Q:Does TriCam Industries’ FR1040 16 inch Pneumatic tire fit TriCam’s GroundWork Heavy-Duty Utility Cart GW1400? If not, which tire(s) will fit?

        Answer This Question

A:  We use these tires on our large wheel borrow, the axel is 5/8 inch dia. I think they come with a knock out bushing for a different size axel, we have had them over 2 years they have worked well.

        by|Mar 9, 2020

A:  The FR1040 tire will not fit the GW1400 cart. The FR1040 has 5/8” bearings, and the GW1400 requires a tire with ¾” bearings. The FR-2210 has a universal bearing adaptor kit and will fit as a replacement tire, but the tread pattern and rim color will not match. For an exact replacement tire match for the GW1400, please contact Tricam customer service at 800-867-6763 or email us at website@tricam.com.

A:  They will not send you the tire you need

                by|May 4, 2019

A:  There is an inside hub that is approximately 2 inches by 1 1/2 inch in diameter, that will be the inside hub, we have had good luck with these tires.

                  A:  1ply

                  by|May 4, 2019

A:  These tires are marked "2 P. R." I suspect that this means two ply rating. I have used them to carry more than the rated load of 300 pounds per tire.

                      Answer This Question

A:  They're definitely 5/8'' measure twice before ordering.

                      by|May 5, 2023

A:  You could just take your axle to a HD and try it, but most stores don't stock this wheelset. I bought/used these to convert a one wheel to a two wheel unit and bought a new axle rod (5/8" dia.x3' @HD) to get this done.
