        Q:If I order 20 ft, will I get a single length, or 20 1 ft pieces? I want a single length, but I don't need a 500-ft spool of it.

        Answer This Question

A:  Thank you, but no local store stocks it so I have to order online. In fact, the only option at checkout is ordering it online; the pickup at store option is grayed out. The description implies that I get a 1-foot piece. If I order 20 of this item, will I get 20 individually wrapped 1-foot pieces, or will I get a single 20-foot length? In other words is it a stock item picked by machine or does a human actually measure and cut it?

        by|Aug 7, 2020

A:  The wire rope is sold by the foot in store, online it is sold by the reel (500 feet).
