Q:would this hold up 4x8 1/8 MDF paneling to a flat 1x4 pine studs if nailed 16 nails per sheet?

A: hello, Cyberpine: I believe they would and somehow I think it would look extra cool to do so. But that's just me, I'd build something that way and not even notice how the paneling is falling off for a few years.afterwards... but you know, if it's a looks thing, you could first put in a couple of some serious nails and then cover them up with these - good luck with your project, sounds pretty awesome.

A: Using 4 pieces of 1 x 4 pine studs across the 8 inch side of MDF paneling and putting 4 nails per stud evenly should hold the paneling up.
