Q:Is this what I need? I worry that this has too many screws that will weaken the frame and that the screws may be too long for a 1" thick door. I need the 2 doors to lay flat against each other for storage. A privacy screen when open.

A: The Everbilt 1-1/16 in. x 12 in. Bright Nickel Continuous Hinge can be either surface mounted or interior mounted. Note that interior mount will still expose the knuckle of the hinge or hinge pin housing. An invisible hinge may be a more appropriate solution for this application.

A: Don't know. I used Phillips Flathead #6 because I wanted the hinge to be able to close on itself.
