A:  No this item is not made in the USA. Very few things are any more. However even having been made in Taiwan they are a good, strong quality.. I have put mine through some tough situations and they are still going with no noticeable changes in form or workmannship.

A:  For a Deck I would recomend a bigger one. This is more for finnishing nails that are smaller in nature.

A:  I am pretty sure this could do the job. It would depend on how strong you are and how much force you could apply, but the tool itself could probably handle any size nail.

      by|May 24, 2019

A:  It will work, however a larger bar may be needed.

        by|May 5, 2023

A:  It would be much easier with a bigger one.

Q:"California residents: see Proposition 65 information " why is this tagged in the Product Overview?

A:  Materials might cause cancer. Overreaction! Everything causes cancer in California....

          by|Mar 31, 2020

A:  What’s on earth is this?

            by|Nov 5, 2019

A:  While this may not be the best answer, it is at least honest... California forces businesses to put these tags up if there is the remotest chance of something being a carcinogen. Went into my favorite chain taco place the other day and now there are Prop 65 warning signs next to where you pick up your food. It's beyond me how the nail puller is a carcinogen... Sorry, best I can do for ya.

            by|May 6, 2023

A:  I'd have to say more than likely it appears as a disclaimer to protect the seller.

              by|May 1, 2020

A:  There is a big fine for not labeling a product which needs to be labeled, but no fine for over-labeling, so it's cheaper to over-label everything shipped to California, just in case some component or ingredient is ever found to have cancer association.

              by|Jan 25, 2022

A:  Because EVERYTHING is cancerous to Kalifornians. And if you use this tool everyday all day for 100 years, you will get cancer. Just a matter of time till they designate oxygen as such.

A:  sure just don't expect to save wood

                  by|May 4, 2023

                    A:  yes

                    by|May 4, 2023

A:  Works very well for removing small headed gun nails from pallets. Also takes smaller chips of wood out of the strakes if you are trying to salvage the wood for re-use!

A:  Yes, this will remove embedded nails from a pallet.

                      by|May 3, 2023

A:  Not unless they're sticking out. I do a lot of pallet work and employ a demolition bar, pry bars, rip hammer and mallet. And sometimes, if I don't need the runners, I'll run a recip right down the line underneath each slat board, then pop out the nail stumps with a nail set.
