Answer This Question

A:  960 lumens is the amount of light it produces. 32 watts is the amount of energy it uses. A standard 9W (equivalent in light output to a 60W tungsten bulb) LED screw in replacement bulb produces 800 lumens. Therefore this light is significantly less efficient (about 66%) than standard LED bulbs. The reason for this is that it converts the current to 12 Volts. At lower voltage the amperage (and therefore wattage will go up). That's why big appliances use 220 V so they cost less to operate. the formula is VxA=W.

        Answer This Question

A:  Hi, We have not tested this - the Commercial Electric strips may have different pin-out assignments and run different power ratings so we do not recommend mixing the two systems. Thank you!
