A:  Hi Josh, As long as your safe has a warning light/method on it to alert you as to when to change the battery - you should be fine with this battery. The sustained output is lower when compared to a regular non-rechargeable battery and will continue to drop as you elevate the number of recharge cycles.

A:  NiMH is better than NiCad. It doesn't build up a memory like NiCAD does.

A:  Energizer no longer manufactures NiCad batteries. NiMH are different from Nicad. Their chemical composition is different.

A:  with A charger that no one seams to sell anywhere, so don't buy these unless you already have A charger for them.

A:  You have to have a charger that has a 9-volt plug.
