A: Home depot should have a box of them open for single purchase however I discovered buying a whole box was better for me given the fact I have about 40 of them in my backyard and they do not hold up forever.

A: I suggest you buy another 12-pack. I had the same situation but was easily able to use the extras.
I put them around a baby tree that is growing in my front lawn.

A: There are 12 sections in each package. You can not buy only 6.

Q:It's annoying that these little plastic garden borders don't come in a smaller package ,let's say 4 to a pack or 6. What if you don't need 12?
That's the way it is I guess, always trying to get the most $$$ out of you.

A: I agree, In fact it would be nice if they were sold separately. Many other edgers are. I was able to use all of the edgers, though, by putting the extras around a tree seedling.

A: If you are only using for a small area you may not need the 12 pieces, but most folks need at least 12. They are easy to store and at least you will have a replacement should one of the pieces break - which does happen. I ordered 4 boxes - and still have some left - also consider sharing with a neighbor.

A: I agree, but luckily I needed all 12. Before I bought single pieces because I only need 4.
by|Aug 14, 2019
A: I really don't mind having extra. I put the extra aside and came up with other areas where I could use them. I really like the way they look and they were easy to set up. I am very pleased and feel they are well worth the money..

A: I live in Florida and the sun made them brittle and they broke. Only held up about 6 months. I would figure the snow might do the same thing
by|Apr 22, 2019
A: They are not affected by snow or rain except maybe to lean a little. They are not strong, just an edging, have to be adjusted once in a while
by|Apr 22, 2019
A: Mine are always out for the entire year. The snow has never had any adverse effects on the little fence. What I do notice is that after a few years, particularly if they receive high sun, they tend to lose their plasticity and eventually become slightly stiff. All in all, a great buy. I have purchased them twice over 10 years, and they are a great product. You can’t beat the use you get out of them for the price. Now, I f you take them out of the ground and store them inside, who knows how many additional years you will get out of them!

A: We live in Louisiana and we rarely get snow but I doubt snow would have an impact. It's been 3 yrs. since I put them out and with the sun and heavy rain it looks still looks nice..

A: I live in the Northeast as well and left mine in all winter. When the ground heaves they might fall over but in spring I just reset them.

A: I reside in texas we have other weather conditions such as high winds, flooding, hail, tornadoes. We get ice but not snow. Overall my fencing is still standing and still white.

A: Yes, they are removable and they are very durable. I put them outside in the spring and take them back into the house in the winter. There is no assembly - you just put them in the ground and that's it.

A: Yes. They can be removed and placed in other spots within the section. This enabled me to make the fence piece fit smaller openings.
