A: I still did not receive my order. The first time I received an empty box. I called and spoke with an agent, allegedly she sent me a new one. I still do not have it. This is highly inconvenient!

A: Interesting question. I measured against a flat surface. It does dip slightly but it did not change the length.

A: Hi, chuck , i have this ruler, and i just grabbed it and try it to give you the correct answer. I put it on top one of my counter top and you can see a little gap in the center , so it does work, it didn't bend. This ruler is sturdy but it's a little flexible for you to bend it if you want. ( just a little) but for your question it worked for me. Remember this ruler is 4ft. And if have a bigger counter top. I don't know if this might work unless you get it a 72 in. Beam level . I think that's going to work better for you . Harbor freight have them for like $12.99. And if you have and account with them is 20%off. . If your counter top is smaller you can grab the 4tf level. . Hope this help buddy .

A: This will be OK dependihg on the length of the span, but.... hold it on it's edge against the counter top surface. There's no chance of it bowing on it's edge. Its a real nice product. Good Luck !

A: No, while it is thick grade aluminum. It is rather flimsy.

A: I would recommend an aluminum baseball bat instead. They are lightweight, sturdier, and have a rubber overmolded grip to enhance purchase and soften the impact to your hands when enforcement is executed.

A: The 72" ruler is about 3/16" thick & 1.5" wide, made of solid aluminum with very little flex & would be good for social distancing measurements.
