A:  The DW series is a non rated access panel. Please refer back to website and search for FR or FRC series for fire rated access panels.

A:  Actual Door dimensions 23.5” x 23.5”

A:  I moved house I installed, believe 1-1/2 or 2 inch frame, still large enough to crawl thru. I’m 6’2” 200 lbs

A:  Hello the door size is 24x24. Please be advised we do have 1/4" + or - tolerance.

A:  hello yes this is a universal access panel, it can be installed in a drop ceiling.

A:  I used it on a wall access for the fireplace 

A:  It has holes on the inside to screw into

A:  Jeff - on the interior flange there are mounting holes that will allow you to secure the door. You can use the fastener you feel will work best with your applications. This information and more is available in our specification sheet located in the section labeled Info and Guides.

A:  it has an inside lever type attachment and its hidden from view. I'm not sure it would work on a ceiling as mine was used on a wall to hide pipes.

A:  Yes they have mechanical fasteners and they are hidden.

A:  It could be 1/2” bigger and you will no problem.

A:  1/8 shouldn’t hurt, lip on door should cover 1/8.
