For a deeper clean we suggest wiping your sink with a Mr. Clean® Magic Eraser® and either water or a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution, and towel dry with a cotton cloth. A:  Go to Elkay website for cleaning and maintenance. I've had this sink 8 months and have only used soap and water to clean and just wipe dry. I wash pots and pans in it, no scratches. If you get a scratch it comes out with Magic Eraser. I love this sink.

A:  I don’t use one for my sink. I would think if you cared to used one you could. I have always found the sink get stained underneath so I didn’t want to stain this new one. We’ve had it in for about a year now. I love it. It doesn’t show stains like porcelain sinks. I was warned, however, not to pour boiling water....like draining pasta or potatoes ...in the sink but rather to turn on the cold water and drain the pot into the running cold water. It cleans well with a little bleach if it does get a stain.

A:  We found a nice assortment of sink protectors at Bed, Bath and Beyond. We purchased the heavy-duty plastic protectors with a slight raise for water to pass through.
